What Others Are Saying

One of the Fulbright students read your book and she said it is very useful!(from a US Embassy officer who is in charge of Fulbright students)
I found it very insightful....and it was good to see how others with an outside view of America see it from the inside (from a LT-GEN (Ret) with the USA Army)
her son-in-law who has just left for the States… found it very useful esp in helping him to understand the American's way of thinking. He said he should have read it earlier which of course was not possible (from a good friend who bought my book for her friend)

You have obviously done a lot of research and made numerous observations and they are all on target, in my opinion, in communicating the differences between Singapore and the US. You know the US well. And you know the questions people ask when they consider coming to America. (from my Asian American pastor in the US)

we just got our hands on your book. Really interesting reading... especially about schools (from a family who is relocating to Arizona soon)

she says it's so helpful as the other books recommended to her are written for a general audience. As such, these books do not cater for the Singaporean mindset, such as different approach to education and especially the attitude of Americans on their right to own arms! (from a friend whose friend is going to relocate to in Virginia)

Your book is very useful for us. It is very informative and easy to read. (from a concerned Mom whose daughter is going to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C in Aug 2010)
